And the Playoff Champion is?

On December 14 I made my case for a 16-team FBS College Football Playoff. I simulated the games using updated data and the latest version of the EA Sports NCAA College Football game. The first round gave us good games with Clemson, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, Houston, Alabama, Stanford, Michigan State and Ohio State winning. From there the final four teams were Clemson, Oklahoma State, Stanford in an upset over Alabama and Michigan State. Oklahoma State and Michigan State advanced to the championship game with Oklahoma State winning 31-16. For the most part the games were close and would have been exciting to watch with the game being decided in the final four minutes of the game. We will have to wait for a field of 16. Until then enjoy tonight’s championship game. I’m taking Alabama.
